My Personal Space The Rules About My Personal Space

The rules about my personal space are very simple.
(This is not going to be a long list.)

1. You don't have a right to tell me what to do.
Explanation: The only . . . the ONLY . . . person that has that right is a boss that pays me every two weeks.
NO ONE ELSE HAS THAT RIGHT!

2. You don't have a right to tell me things I already know.
Explanation: If you think I already know it, ASK ME. (ex.: 'Did you know . . .", or, "Have you heard . . .' are great examples of what you should do)

3. You don't have a right to criticize me for what YOU don't understand.
Explanation: Just ask me. I'll tell you what you wan to know.

4. You don't have a right to contradict me.
Explanation: We can agree or disagree, or that old lame 'cop-out' excuse, 'agree to disagree'. We can have an open and transparent, honest and healthy debate and discussion.
Just don't CONTRADICT me.

Those are the 'rules' that I have for ME. Others may have their own.
